It just didn’t seem like there were enough apples, so I kept adding some… in photoshop!  Doing it all by hand is what I love most about illustrating but when your picture is done and there are not enough apples, you can either start all over again or cheat a little.

Girl in the Apple Tree was done on Bamboo paper.  I still can’t decide if I like the paper or not.
